This plate is designed for stable fixation of fractures involving the olecranon process of the ulna. The hooks fix securely to the bone, ensuring stable anchorage and early mobilization.
Indications
- Displaced olecranon fractures (simple and comminuted).
- Olecranon osteotomies that require rigid fixation.
- Nonunions and malunions of the olecranon.
- Fractures with small or fragmented distal bone pieces.
- Fractures that require fixation with strong hook anchorage under the olecranon tip.
The plate provides firm fixation by using the hook to engage the olecranon, allowing for stable repair with 3.5mm cortical screws.
