Proximal Femoral Nail (PFN)

The Proximal Femoral Nail is an intramedullary implant designed for stable, minimally invasive fixation of proximal femoral fractures. It facilitates early mobilization and provides reliable stabilization, particularly in osteoporotic bone. The nail accommodates two lag screws (6.0 mm and 8.0 mm) for secure fixation within the femoral neck.

Indications:
  • Intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures
  • Basal neck fractures
  • Comminuted or unstable proximal femur fractures
  • Pathological fractures of the proximal femur
